Since 1927, the Kansas Association of Historians, originally the Kansas History Teacher's Association, is a place for history teachers in Kansas and their students to meet, share ideas, present scholarship, and promote the skills of the historical craft. Our annual conference is the main outlet for our work and we especially encourage undergraduate and graduate students to present their work. While Kansas topics are the most common subjects of research, we welcome scholarship in all aspects of history. We are an organization for historians IN Kansas rather than OF Kansas.
